Use this thread to ask questions, give feedback and talk about the battle in general. I'd prefer very little OOC in the battle thread.

Mikey... You've given me like 1/3 morale and prevented me from using the only advantage I could possibly find in this battle, which would be Wei's troop numbers.
Wu, because of the reputation system on this site, has numerous higher tier troops than Wei, enough to send a full 15,000 of advanced troops. If I can't send more than 15,000, considering there's hardly any strategic value on that map whatsoever, I'm hard-pressed to find any way to see this battle going positively.
Can I bring more than 15,000 men into this battle?
[edit] - And the morale needs to tip a bit, man. Wu is happy Zhang Liao is dead, yes, but Wei soldiers should be anxious to avenge their beloved general. They should be going out there to fight with vigor.
I killed Zhang Liao off for plot reasons, to help the site, not to fuck myself over and send myself into a battle that'll only give me head aches.

First of all Brian, we can take more than 15,000 as can Justin. Personal armies don't count towards the number. We're going to be outnumbered either way.
It makes sense for the morale to be low with Zhang Liao's death, and the size of the Wu army both. But the soldiers should have some kind of bloodlust up to avenge their long-time commander. An added fire in their offense.
This battle will be amazingly fun, because of the odds stacked against us, but it does seem as if it's going to be very one sided from the off. We have all the disadvantages from the off.
Shen Ha shouldn't be the victory condition for a Wu victory. He isn't the prime defender of Hefei, he's there taking command of Zhang Liao's troops to avenge him. Li Dian and Yue Jin both would outrank him; so for him to be a victory condition is not right.

The battle has been locked so I can look at the complaints at a later time when I'm not incredibly busy.

The battles could be completely rped with no numbers, but then who decides who wins? The morale will be reset for this battle to stay at 50 - 50, not taking into account Rp factors out of the battle. There are other issues currently being resolved in the staff board, stay tuned. =)

That was my only concern moderator-wise: the morale. It was severely in Wu's favor, because I decided to partake in a plot that involved killing off my character.
It'd be fine to say spirits were high in Wu because Zhang Liao was gone and just as high in Wei because they were burning with a passion for vengeance.
I just didn't think with the tier difference in troops and the morale so far in their favor, that the battle was worth fighting. Now, I'm much more comfortable.

There are now no troop limits on the battle as a sort of semi-experiment. The rulers decide how many men to commit, not a staff member. EDIT: The battle has been reopened.

Does that mean Justin can edit his post to adjust the amount of troops we have?
