OOC: I mean me personally for doing this.
The guard was stunned. He truly hadn't expected what he'd witnessed and his face turned a brilliant red. "Ah! Forgive me! I didn't meant to... I'll be waiting outside!" The guard quickly exited the room. Perhaps too much rushing was a bad thing.

Li chuckled softly as the young guard scurried out of the room; that would teach him to rush into a bedroom!
The girls were glaring daggers at him now, but he did not care; now that they'd served their purpose, he had a mission to complete, and as soon as he did he was going to be leaving the city. He cared not one measly bit how angry they were with him; in all likelyhood, they'd never see him again.
These were the nature of his thoughts as he finished redressing and left the room without speaking a word to either of them.
"You may take me to your liege, now." Li proclaimed to the guard in the most dignified manner he could, which admittedly involved Li being redfaced and a laugh struggling to burst from his lips.

"Yes, my lord," the messenger said as he bowed low. the two drew much attention during their return trip and it only made the young messenger more nervous. As the duo approached the palace, the messenger bowed before the guards and passed Li Wang's escort to them. The two guards led Li Wang immediately to the throne room and allowed him in. Liu Biao smiled from atop his throne, blade nowhere to be seen. "Ah, Commander General! Please, come in; I have a message for you to deliver to your lord."

Well, it looks like it's time to get the hell out of Dodge Li thought as he noticed the attention he was generating; he could only hope Liu Biao had made his decision.
A few minutes later, Li was feeling a little more relaxed as he entered the relative safety of the palace, but his anxiety returned with force when he noticed Liu Biao was unarmed this time; either he was going to tell Li he would ally with the Red Banner, or he had assassins hiding somewhere to finish him off. Li braced for the latter whilst hoping for the former. He assumed yet another facade of diplomatic good will.
"I shall faithfully deliver whatever message you wish to convey." Li delivered that line smoothly; whilst Liu Biao might tell him he'd ally with Sun Ce, Li would observe the man to decide if he was happy about it or not.

Liu Biao arose from his throne and walked toward Li Wang. "You came into my city as an enemy seeking peace. There are far more powerful lords out there than yours however. Cao Cao and Yuan Shao both have large armies, and Lu Bu is a man of great might. Any of these men would be powerful allies indeed."Liu Biao look straight at Li Wang. "But they have one other trait in common, they overlook us. Combining our might is the only way we can survive in these troubled times. Now hurry back to your lord and tell that my blade is ready to aid him so long as he'll do the same for me!"With that Liu Biao returned to his throne and sat down. Satisfied with his decision, he knew Sun Ce would also be quite happy. After all, one should keep friends close and enemies closer.

"You came into my city as an enemy seeking peace. There are far more powerful lords out there than yours however. Cao Cao and Yuan Shao both have large armies, and Lu Bu is a man of great might. Any of these men would be powerful allies indeed."
Li visibly stiffened as Liu Biao said this; did this mean he'd come all this way for naught? Were Sun and Liu to be dominated by Cao? Was Li to be executed? Li's smile slipped but he remained silent as Liu Biao went on.
"But they have one other trait in common, they overlook us. Combining our might is the only way we can survive in these troubled times. Now hurry back to your lord and tell that my blade is ready to aid him so long as he'll do the same for me!"
Li's smile was back; the mission was a success! No longer would the clans of Sun Ce and Liu Biao feud over trivial border disputes. No longer would there be war in the south! No longer would the Tiger be viewed as a cub! There was much to do now that Sun Ce and Liu Biao were allies, the first of which would most definitely be to eliminate Lu Bu. Li was excited now, and needed to return to Jian Ye with the good news.
"Let Sun and Liu be as one!" Li clasped his fist to his palm and bowed before he all but scurried out in his haste to return to Sun Ce in Jian Ye.
