"You must learn to go past death to fathom these waters."
Name: Lu Meng
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Style: Canon
Residence: Jiang Dong
Personality:
Lu Meng is the sort of reserved type who would rather spend his time thinking over a situation then thrusting himself right in the middle- for this he possesses the strategists moniker. Yet this wasn't always so; his earlier years were confused with the trials of young adult life in which he himself was more of a young tiger than anything. But with years of trouble grows the tiger, and after much loss he found some solace in wisdom, providing a formidable base for the person he has become. Quiet, unselfish and more akin to a vase than a lamp, he respects those around him greatly, and values all- instead of just a few.
Appearance:
Tall and firm, Lu Meng is a warrior's warrior, yet you wouldn't guess it from his appearance. He carries with him always a long robe that he drapes around him, almost to his neck when needed. Whether this is a practical thing is unseen; Meng himself would propose he does it to keep his mannerisms from his earlier days down; to chain the tiger within. In a sense this is a pivotal part of who he is, yet also nothing- the robes are simply old, worn and nearly torn.
Apparel/Armour:
None.
Weapon(s):
[Level 3]
A large pike, its blade is almost too big, the shaft perhaps a strong seven feet. It is less practical in the field, but more akin to the likes of individual combat- something Lu Meng thrives upon.
History:
A brief (at least 3 paragraphs) detailed account of your character's life up until the starting point of the game.
Current Information:
Born to a proud family in the eastern Plains, Lu Meng lived a sea fairing life, working with his father whom ran the port office near Xia Pi. His life was atypical; which is why he would tell you he ended up going down the wrong path. When he was sixteen he had some trouble getting mixed up with Pirates and was for this banished from his household.
After feeling dejected from the very life he worked so hard to live, he threw himself at the local army and trained hard to become a warrior. After a year or so of devout training, he broke and shattered- forcing him to leave the city he'd lived his entire life and take out to the world. He was but eighteen. Yet he carried on, and through years of determination, found himself a way.
Much of his determination came after his stay in a Buddhist village near Jing, where he became a pupil to the local master. He worked hard at his studies and after much deliberation finally felt he was fine with his past mistakes and felt he could go back to his home. He returned when he was twenty two, gained entrance back to his family and found that the woman to whom he was to have married, had still waited for him. Despite this, he left them still- telling them his journey was not done, and that the turbulent times in the land required his skills.
