"You Must Be The Change You Wish To See In The World" - Mohandas K. Ghandi
Name: Zhao Yun
Age: 54 (Born: 165)
Gender: Male
Style: Canon
Residence: Xin Ye (Visiting Cheng Du)
Personality:
Determined and Moral. Those two words can fully describe Zhao Yun in every aspect of his life. As a warrior he is steadfast and does all he can to succeed in the orders he is given. As a person he is soft spoken, polite, and calm. Once a boy of great ambition and zeal, now a man of good moral fiber and perseverance. There are few times when anyone will see this man raise his voice when not on the battlefield.
Even when attacked verbally Zilong does little to be vicious. He speaks in facts, and if his opinions are voiced he makes sure everyone is aware it is his opinion and not a foundated fact.
Contemplative is another way to describe this man. His alone time is more geared towards self perfection and reflecting back on how he's spent his life. It is not uncommon to find him knelt infront of his ancestors holding fully conversations with the old stone or running through his kata endlessly.
Appearance:
The first major thing that stands out about Zhao Yun is how well he's aged. For being well past middle age for the era, he looks still in his prime. The main marker of his age is the strands of white that line his head of hair. They are not a mass amount, but they are noticable to say the least.
More out of place that anything would be his eyes. A deep green in color, they seem to have never aged past sixteen harvests. There is still that zest of life and desire to continue. No matter how long one would gaze, they never seem to change. No moment of weakness is to be found when looking into this man's soul.
Though aged, Zilong carries himself rather strongly, walking confidently no matter the occasion. He strides as if even the wind refused to blow against him. Though, when his long ponytail is caught by the wind, the illusion is ruined. He seems almost out of place in the chaos. His kind heart and golden soul keep a near tangible aura about him of angelic proportions.
The most important thing about his appearance though is the near faded scar that appears on the back of his left hand, and again on his left palm. A scar made by an arrow that was "caught" to save the life of Liu Chan at Chang Ban. It is a blemish to his near perfect skin, but it is one he wears with joy, not pride. He's happy to have done the right thing when tested, having not caved under the pressure and rose to the occasion.
Apparel/Armour:
Formal
This outfit of simple clothing is merely that. It's a pair of white pants with light blue trim along with a matching top. His boots are the same soft white, while his belt the light blue. This outfit is most commonly seen when attending banquets and council meetings. Very rarely will he been seen out and about in this clothing.
Day to Day
Also known as casual wear. This set of clothing, or more or less light armor is rather plain. It's a simple set of leather armor, with chain sewn in about the torso, upper arms, and thighs. There are no gauntlets and the boots are of militaristic make, but not armored in any way. The most discerning feature of this would have to be insignia of Shu Han embroided upon the chest of this piece just over his left pectoral.
This is the most common attire to see Zhao Yun in when visiting him or seeing him about his place of residence.
Militaristic
The upper half of this armor is pictured above, the lower half is matching in the armor design. The boots even ahve plated chain sewn into the front of them. The main thing missing is a light blue half cape that hang down his right side. The brooch that holds the cape up is the insignia of Shu Han. This armor will only be seen on the battlefield or in the camp prior-and-post confrontation. The armor is not glamorous and does not stand out. This is a reflection of the wearer's humble heart truly.

History:
For all his loyalty and dedication, Zhao Yun has had his fair share of leaders. At a young age he though the noble family of Ye was the rightful leader of his heart. This turned out to be an utter falsity. Infact, during battle he switched his loyalties to the horse lord of Bai Ma. It was here he would remain for many years. Then, the once great horse lord slowly descended into a world the young warrior did not wish to follow.
It was at this time Zilong took flight from his current lord's lands and made haste to find a new leader who was pure of heart. He found Liu Bei. The two had met years before in Ye, and Zilong had always thought highly of him, but now it was time to put thought to action. At once the warrior pledged his allegiance to the warlord and that was that. Zhao Yun would do things here and there of fame but what really made him stand out was the confrontation at Chang Ban Po. Liu Bei's wife and son were left behind during a retreat from Cao Cao's forces. Zilong turned, alone, and made his way back to retrieve them. It was foolish to most, but to Zilong it was just his duty as an officer of Liu Bei. And so after much fighting and defying the reaper left and right, the young warrior returned a hero. It only one when embracing Liu Bei did anyone realize he'd been wounded. Blood spewed from his left hand as if a dam had broke. It was here he fainted. The medicine men helped and with time the warrior was back to full strength, but he still wears the scar of that fateful day.
From that day on Zhao Yun was known as "Courage Personified" to his lord and became part of the back bone of his lord's armies. His most recent accomplishments include the taking of Han Zhong and reinforcing Guan Yu at Xin Ye. He still, currently, resides in Xin Ye awaiting orders.
