Name: Cao Zhang
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Style: Historical
Residence: Chen Liu
Personality:
Cao Zhang is a "street-smart" person, as some people would say. He never got into academics, but he doesn't find a use for what little he has. He survives well without them, and uses his leadership and strength to preservere. Suprisingly, Zhang is somewhat mannered and calm, and is not known to lash out with excess. He shows great self-restraint when being taunted but has a small temper, which only adds onto the carnage he unleashes in battle. He assesses situations as they arise, putting him moves ahead of the enemy even without an education.
Appearance:
Portrait:
Cao Zhang stands at an impressive height for a Chinese man, and his body is toned with rigorous training. He looks to be about twenty, when he is actually about seventeen. He has short hair and a short, pointed goatee. His beard actually has some shades of yellow in it, hence giving him the nickname "Yellow Beard". Zhang's eyes always look fierce and intimidating, and otherwise his face is the same as an average man's. He wears full-suited armour almost always, save for when he relaxing at home. (More on the armour later)
Apparel / Armour:
Cao Zhang usually wears a full suit of armour, which was presented to him on his sixteenth birthday by his father. It is almost purey gray, save for the gold and silver trim in several places. On his shoulder plates lay designs of lions' heads, two intimidating figures to be met in battle.
When simply staying in his house relaxing (which is never often, unless sleeping), he wears simple gray robes lined with gold and silver trim, crafted by his mother.
Weapon:
Short Sword
History:
Cao Zhang was born one of the eldest sons of Cao Cao, in a small border town outside of Chen Liu. Cao left his mother with great wealth and gifts, but that could not replace a father figure in the household. Zhang grew to be a fighter at a young age, becoming the man that his mother needed him to be. His father visited occasionally to assess his son, and each time he was even more pleased. Once Cao even asked him to live with him and become a famous general when he matured, but Zhang declined his offer. His mother and his village needed him, and he wasn't going to go back on them.
Cao still payed for military training for him though, toning his archery and building upon his already-strong melee combat techniques. At the age of sixteen, Zhang could hit a bullseye from one hundred yards away 9 out of 10 times, and wrestle with large animals unscathed.
His mother left the village soon after, confident enough that she did not need her strong son to take care of him, and that left him with a longing to finally accept his father's offer. Cao however, was nowhere to be found, so Zhang continued to roam Zhongyuan, honing his strengths. In a few months, he found a poster with a Wanted sign with his father's head on it. He removed the poster and searched for his father and soon found him forming an army of his own. He attempted to join his force but was denied because of his lack of academics. Zhang reluctantly agreed to be sent away to a school, but soon showed that he did not feel that he needed to learn and left the school.
He continued to roam once more, searching for what he could call his true home. The wanting of joining his father's army still clings to his being to this day.
