Name: Li Wang, styled "Běixīng"
Age: 29 (chapter 1), 30 (chapter 2)
Gender: Male
Style: Original
Residence: Gui Ying
Personality:
Li Wang is a champion of the people. However, do not let that lull you into a false sense of security; if you're his enemy, no mercy or decorum will be spared on you. He is humble to a fault, but he brooks no insult to the abilities of his friends.
Appearance:
Li Wang is a taller man with an officers lithe physique. His demeanor is calm and collected, and he often appears to be contemplating one of life's many mysteries when in fact he is merely surveying his surroundings. Li Wang is definitely a thoughtful person.
Li Wang is also extremely agile, wielding twin blades with ease.
Apparel/Armour:
Li Wang goes into battle with leather armor that will deflect most glancing blows. This lamellar armor is unique, however, in that it has a cut down suit of chainmail integrated into it. The chainmail covers his chest, biceps, forearms, shins, and thighs, allowing for the greatest possible armor without compromising Wang's greatest defense; his flexibility and agility.
Weapon(s):
Li Wang's main weapons are a set of double edged twin blades with socketed pommels that allow them to be married into a single double-sided sword. The hilts are each 8 inches in length, and the blades each 2.75 feet (giving the blades a total length of 6 feet 10 inches when joined). These are called "Honor" and "Justice", but when joined together become "Judgement".
He is also quite proficient in the martial arts, and will often times be found training with a chain-sickle. The blade and chain are both steel, and it's maximum radius is about 8 feet, though he is still proficient with it below that range.
History:
Li Wang came from a family of merchants in Jian Ye, but once his parents were both dead rejected the easy life of a merchant in favor of the excitement of the army. At the age of 16, Li was commissioned a captain in the service of Liu Yong.
By the age of 20, Li had risen to become a minor general, but Sun Ce's army was approaching Jian Ye. Li led a desperate defense of the district, inflicting some rather heavy casualties on the Little Conqueror's forces, and was captured in a raid on his army's camp. Sun Ce was impressed with the young Li, and offered to commission Li a full General. Li accepted in a heartbeat.
Over the next couple of years, Li became one of Sun Ce's most trusted generals, and it was he who discovered Sun Ce's corpse when the man was poisoned. Li has since become more of a military functionary under Sun Quan's rule, which may in part have added to his lingering suspicion of the man in Sun Ce's death. However, while he still serves the Sun, he might just be talked into defecting or even rebelling if he ever finds proof that it was Zhongmou who slew Bofu. At the very least he'd probably resign.
Now, his most pressing duty is to teach Dailai Zhangba to write so that he doesn't have to return to Jian Ye every time he wishes to make a report. This task is distasteful to both participants, and their conflicting personalities makes it even more torturous, but through the long hours of candle light a grudging friendship has blossomed amidst the fierce rivalry of two Generals working through the ranks.

"Has it occurred to either of you that we're Wu's future?"
-Li Wang, to Huang Bai and Lu Xun at the funeral of Huang Gai
"That must have sucked, finally getting the girl only to have her sent off to Liu Bei a month later. Maybe you should have told Zhongmou you were stuffing her. I don't blame ya; a woman that fine should be stuffed hard and often."
-Dailai Zhangba, in an attempt to antagonize Li Wang to the point of a fist fight.
"I was not stuffing her! And don't you talk about her like that!"
-Li Wang, to Dailai Zhangba as his fist connects with his temple.
