Post by Guan Suo (Zeffy) on Jul 9, 2011 2:38:05 GMT
Name: Guan Suo
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Style: Fictonal
Residence: Cheng Du
Personality:
Guan Suo is a "street-smart" person, as some people would say. He never got "in" to academics, preferring to spend his time training. He survives well with only the talent inherited from his father, and uses his leadership and strength to preservere.
Suo is somewhat mannered and calm, and is not known to lash out with excess. He shows great self-restraint when being taunted but has a very small temper, which only adds onto the carnage he unleashes in battle. He assesses situations as they arise, putting him moves ahead of the enemy even without an education.
Appearance:
Portrait:
Suo has a rough face and body, toned from endless hours of training. As one would expect from the son of Guan Yu, he is very built, and has begun the process of growing a beard (he has a small goatee currently). His hair is occasionally kept up with, but most time, it is left undone and wild, a blue turban keeping it out of his face. Guan stands at 5'11", and hopes to grow as tall as his father. He weighs about 190 lb., mostly muscle.
Apparel / Armour:
Guan Suo is usually wearing a suit of armour, but it is lighter - and weaker - than most officer's. Rarely has it seen a scratch or a dent, but when it has, Suo makes sure it is repaired as soon as possible - he likes his appearance, and showing up everywhere with battered armour shows that you got your ass kicked.
The armour was presented to him by his father when he was younger, and except for the fact it had to be re-outfitted to support his increasing body size, he's kept it as long as he's had it. It is dark grey with dull yellow trim, and Suo wears a green cape to compliment it, and to show his loyalty to his father's country.
Besides his armour, Guan wears very light clothing underneath, and wears plated gloves and boots for extra protection against skilled warriors, and nature.
Weapon:
Halberd: Five foot long handle with a double-sided steel halberd blade that is a little more than a foot long. It weighs about five pounds.
+ It has a long range, and is very versatile. It can cut, slash, stab, and you can parry with ease.
+ The back end can also be used to push an enemy away. It is best used whilst mounted on a horse.
- It is not suitable for fighting someone in very close range.
- Slower than using a sword.
History:
There is not much to tell of Guan Suo. He was born in Ru Nan, and he is the younger brother to Guan Ping (adopted) and Guan Xing, and son of Guan Yu. Xing is an energetic and fun loving child, he spent his days practicing the martial arts with his older brothers and father; and enjoyed riding horses.
When he was young, he followed his father and brothers around everywhere except the battlefield. That was the only place he was not allowed to roam. Suo began his training young, aspiring to become a warrior like his father and brothers. Once he turned seventeen, he set off to travel in the mountainous region of Shu, to hone his abilities. He wanted to impress Guan Yu so much, it elevated his training intensity.
Now that he is the ripe age of nineteen, Suo is back in Cheng Du, and ready to join his father's army, and make him proud.
