Graceful, poised, and eloquent, Mi Zhu is known for his diplomatic abilities. Having grown up in a family of wealth, Mi Zhu is quite used to the comforts of a lavish lifestyle. This never threatened his morals, however, and he is known for being extremely morally upright. When offered a high position by Cao Cao, he refused it in order to follow Liu Bei in his escape from Xuzhou.
Mi Zhu served as Liu Feng's instructor in all things pertaining to diplomatic and courtly eloquence, as well as in the ways of dealing with coin. Through this they have become friends, despite their age difference.
Despite being very highly ranked and one of Shu's most capable diplomats, Mi Zhu is not known for his ability to propose strategy and he will never step out of his niche.

History:
Mi Zhu grew up in a very wealthy family in Xuzhou. He served Tao Qian until the governor's death and then served Liu Bei. Cao Cao had him appointed Grand Administrator of Yin Commandery, but he refused the appointment to follow Liu Bei to Jingzhou. After Liu Bei's losses in Xuzhou, much of the army was supplemented with Mi Zhu's own house guards and he gave his sister in marriage to Liu Bei.
Since the start of Shu, Mi Zhu has served as one of Liu Bei's most trusted diplomats, but never given command over anything. Still he is treated with the utmost respect around the Shu court.
