Name: Jing Fei
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Style: Original
Residence: Xiang Yang
Personality:
Fei is a very entertaining person at first look. He almost never is seen without a huge grin on his face. He tries to make jokes out of everything and can come off very rude to the wrong person. Some people would think of him as a delinquent however he actually is a very intellectual person and a grand storyteller from his knowledge of many forms of folklore (even some he has made up). He can come up with large tales off the top of his head so those who know him aren't ever truely sure if he is telling the truth or not. Beyond his known case of large lies he is a fun and good natured person.
Appearance:
Short straight hair that sits upon his head like it was floating gently above his flesh. Long bangs that settle right at his eyebrows. A rather skinny physique but very toned which causes rather large boasts of strength for someone of his little body mass. He is above average in height. His skin tone however is also slightly different for normal chinese folk for in his recent blood line are Qiang and nearby tribes from the north west.
Apparel/Armour:
Casual wear: Seemingly peasant garb of cheap and lightweight fabrics of different hints of green and some white. On the back of his shirt is a large eagle sewn into the fabric intriquetly with lots of different hints of white and black.
Armor: Very light weight chainmail that was constructed by his good friend Tong Kai. The mail is loose fitting and rather light which allow a great deal of movement. It wraps around all of his body except for his head which is covered by a helm with the carving of a eagle's mouth made of metal where the face would face while the eyes and a large line is cut out of the face to allow peripheral sight.
Weapon(s):
The main weapon of Ling Fei is a chain scythe. The weapon however is of intriquite craft. The main blade is like a talon of a large bird with two talon like blades curving downward from the top towards the center and on at the bottom curving up. The tips are made with the thought of piercing armor and gripping ahold of the opponent so as to pull them closer to strike with the bottom handle of the chain which is a small grip with two pointed blades sticking out from the sides that are shaped like long spear heads along with the center which is another smaller point. To hold it one would place their hand in the center and close your fist about it placing the central blade between the middle and ring finger while the other hand holds the chain.
The secondary weapon of Ling Fei is a set of throwing knives that are also made with the thought of carving the metal in such a way to allow them to fly through the air faster by making them air resistant causing a harder hit from the higher speed. With a strong enough and fast enough throw one could on a good day breach above average armor of lesser quality. Ling Fei has three pouches which contain about 20 each that are strapped to his waist.
History:
Ling Fei was born in Xiang Yang to a veteran soldier of Liu Biao's regime. At a young age he lived a somewhat easy life but he became quite bored with it quickly and soon took to becoming known as a large delinquent to the cities populace. Doing things just to gain the satisfaction of torturing his neighbors. He had even formed a small gang of young hoodlums to terrorize the random people.
As he got older he had more and more run ins with the officials of the city when he would break laws. Only because of his father's reputation was he saved great punishment. His father with little left to do decided to send his son into the military to turn his life around. Fei, angry at first, entered the army shortly after as a young recruit. He was still unable to keep from pulling pranks and gained a hatred by many in the ranks especially his superiors. However, he was very skilled with throwing weapons and was incredibly fast and agile from his days of running from those that he had wronged. He also was rather strong for his age and size.
Soon he had caught the eye of a man who's father was a high ranking official. This man was an incredible monster of a man and had become a general in the military low ranking though he may have been for his title. He was gathering a group to call his own force and Ling Fei was one of the men on his list. Fei joined the beast Tong Kai. He soon had gained a great friendship with his superior and would become one of his high commanding soldiers in his personal army. They would travel about and fighting back to back against any bandit or rebel that dared to challenge them. He even followed his leader into the first and last loss for that army. The force was decimated by Cao Cao's invading army from the north. Fei was then given a choice of either following his now dear friend or returning to Xiang Yang with a possible execution for him.
So Fei began to travel with his friend doing odd jobs around the province of Jing trying to gain money and avoid the chaos that was going nearby. Until it was good enough of a time for them to sprout back into the lime light.
