The Xiang Yang Palace stands at the centre of the great state city of Chu, and acts as the great monument for all of the region to see. The governor, ruler or prefect resides within the Palace quarters, and in times of diplomacy - sits at the fore of the great red carpet that stretches to the base of the throne. There he or she will greet and discuss matters of concern to their subordinates, or greet and recieve those on foreign business.
The Palace is heavily guarded.

Never had been thought that the gates to the city of Xiangyang would be seen again, a back was turned and believed to be for good; the salutations were made and promises met.. However, this time the daughter of Official Huang Chengyan had returned from the brief departure. As the Lady Huang's eyes observed the townsfolk she could not help recognise, thoughts moved to her son and the two maids she ordered to bring him to Xinye for her. Perhaps this was a mere sign for that journey to be done by herself, to take hold of the youthful Zhan and personally depart Xiangyang with him. But, the Lady Huang was not here for pleasantries as the Lord Liu had gave her the order to reconcile the dislike her bloved Aunt had for him..something that would not be so easily executed. Taking a short breath the young woman moved closer to the Palace of Xiangyang and looked to the skies, only hoping that this visit could bring more than a simple friendship between the Shu and the Cai clan; after all, her mother was the Lady Cai's sister..their bond through blood surely must be strong enough to withstand circumstance..
"Guards of Xiangyang, I am daughter of Official Huang and wish to seek an audience with my Aunt Cai." It had been some time since Lady Huang had seen her Aunt, a matter that ate away at her heart; for she truly admired this strong minded woman whose love for her husband shone through the clouds, especially in taking his two sons as her own. The young woman held herself with respect, the robes were of her usual attire and held no insignia that she was now affiliated with the Green Banner Lord. But, she knew her Aunt was no fool and word would have already reached her ears; something the Lady Huang could easily handle...after all, there were far more important matters Lady Huang wished to speak about than that of Liu Bei...
Thought moved, by chance, on the small matter that what if the Lady Cai was not available to see her? Perhaps the influence Uncle would be the Lady Huang's council? To which Uncle, the naval Cai Mao or perhaps, for the first time in many years, to finally speak with Liu Biao himself..a family member that yet so close, was always far away for her to converse with.....
