He Xing smiled and bowed as well.
Thank you, I shall wait here until Lord Liu Bei's return.
With a smile he sat down on a small bench by the door of the chamber room. He still didn't know if he was doing the right thing when it came to formalities. He was new to all this, and he was only really a simple farmer. Though he was eager, and wanted to see Liu Bei, but he was willing to wait. Leaning over he put his arm on his knee, He Xing's armor clunking together slightly as he did. Brushing off a spot on his armor, he regretted he did not have the proper attire to wear. It wasn't exactly fit to be seen by a man of Liu Bei's stature in He Xing's opinion.
Taking off his small helmet, he put by his side and stroked his mustache. Thinking of the words still to confront Liu Bei with. Now He Xing was not concerned with making a grand appearance. His words smooth as a Fox, and cunning like a Hare. He just wanted to make sure that he addressed Liu Bei properly, and formally.

Zhao Yun Tiger General of Liu Bei
The New Year's Eve was as boring as heaven I watched flies f**k on channel 11 There was no one to kiss, there was nothing to drink Except some old rotten milk someone left in the sink And there's no ring, there's no ring on the phone anymore There's no reason to call, I passed out on the floor Smoked myself stupid and drank my insides raisin' dry
The Dragon; noble, honourable, wise; the pinnacle of every race in the world, bar the gods themselves. The Chinese Dragon was a symbol of hope and character, but yet it was growing harder and harder for Zhao Yun to picture himself as one, even though his given title called him as such. Corrupt was his heart growing, but still he refused to give up on his most important task; helping his Lord reach his goals; even if it would eventually cost him his own life.
It was that selfless nature that propelled Zilong from a mere servant of Gongsun Zan, up to the Tiger General he was under Liu Bei. Few could counter his courage and hard effort, even fewer could counter his skills with his spear in his grasps. He was a Dragon, but not the usual kind.
Lord Xuande interjected first, giving Zilong the much needed forgiveness, the warrior’s heart already lightening with happiness. It was the first time during his disappearance that he felt real life in his soul, as if something was healing him from the inside out.
More good news came with the knowledge the famed Ma Chao remained in fine health, information given to him by none other than Ma Yunlu, someone who Yun had copius amounts of time for, especially after their joint attacks during Yong An, to which they both found great praise at the climax.
His head was shifting from person to person quicker than he would have liked, unable to give any particular person his full and unhindered attention, but yet who could he choose over the other, all being fine people in their own right; he hadn’t the heart the tell any person to leave. Indeed especially not after Mei Li showed herself and an emotional Xuande began weeping soon after.
Close to his bed sat the three of them, the women flanking the ruler of Xin Ye as he showed the true scale of his trust he had for the Little Dragon, a humbling situation if ever he had been in one. It was hard to keep his own tears within his eyes under the extreme emotions being shown and felt, but he was strong, mentally and physically and he remained dry, though the effect it took showed on his face.
“Truly, I am humbled.” He looked down at his chest, trying to compose himself, not one to let his emotions show easily. His face soon rose though and quite obviously struggling to keep his own self together. “What work I have put in has only been through my complete faith and belief that one day we will recreate peace for this troubled land. I strive to be the best at everything I do and it is for that reason I was missing. It seems I am a wanted man these days. I will make sure I am more careful in future though, mi’lord.”
His eyes moved to the ceiling, trying to find words that detailed his feeling perfectly, encapsulated what he wanted to say, but he couldn’t and he wouldn’t for now. Instead he looked back at the three, showing them all as his eyes scanned his thanks along with their own subtle message, ranging from gratitute towards Mei Li and Liu Bei for still believing in him to respect for lady Yunlu, whom he had never expected to have been there at his awakening.
“I fear I have kept you all from your duties for far too long. I intend to make it up to you all when I can, but for now sleep is my only option. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart for your kind words and presence, I will not forgot it.”

Because of the wait I will try and end this segment here, though I will make another thread soon if any of you are interested still. It’ll be more exciting than this one anyway ;].

Ma Yunlu had felt so out of place sitting here. Yes, she was with her lord and yes she was watching over the man that she had grown to respect because of his actions on the battlefield. Having only fought one battle with Zhao Yun, Ma Yunlu had still seen the strength that she only believed to exist with her brother. In a way, she had been completely captivated by his intelligence, strength and even the way he carried himself and his men in battle. Still, she did not feel she knew him enough to deserve to be there. She kept her head bowed, wanting only to see if his vital signs were still well off. She didn't feel like anything drastically negative would happen, so she reverted to having her eyes stare at nothing but the flicker of the candles that illuminated the room.
As her lord wept, she felt her lips upturn into a small smile of joy. Her lord was happy that Zhao Yun was safe and to see a lord weep so openly made her respect for the man rise. He was truly a great man who cared for his people just as much as he cared for himself.
As Zhao Yun spoke, she could tell just by his voice that he would be alright and that kept her at ease. She could not help but listen to his words and as he finished, she unconsciously shook her head, she did not feel like he needed to apologize to her. Instead of speaking it, she just looked at him carefully, wanting him to know that this was no bother to her.
Ma Yunlu wanted to excuse herself, but how could she with her lord sitting just beside her. She must respect the man and remain flanked at his side. She would wait for her own lords departure before she made her own, it was the only thing she could do without disrespecting a man who had the best intentions at heart.
Ma Yunlu finally focused her attention on the other woman. It was a quick glance, she was young, beautiful and according to Zhao Yun, very strong as well. Ma Yunlu wondered if perhaps this woman were to join her lord Liu Bei, would she be another sister much like how she was with Yueying? Perhaps this woman could potentially become an addition to the sisterhood she shared with Yueying... the thought made her smile just a bit.
