With ideas already on my mind in this area specifically, I want to know your own thoughts and ideas. Do the stories and plots interact with the site properly, or is there something we can to tie everything together better?

I personally think you guys could use either a really active NPC mod or try and change it up somehow to accommodate the members that are visiting NPC forces. I believe there are/were people waiting days (plus or minus a few). I just feel assigning a staff member to specifically do NPC duties is the way to go, this way they do not have to worry about anything EXCEPT NPC forces. Example 1: rotk-newera.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ye&action=display&thread=22&page=1

I can vouch for that also, so far I can really only comment on the staff's dwindling activity. It was great for the first week, fantastic activity from everyone, but as the Dip phase was closing it ceased. So battles have been moving slowly and these NPC reactions have not been happening. It would be great to see a dedicated NPC as Redzo suggested.

I agree completely with both your comments and suggestions and with two new mods gained today Npcs should be far easier for members to interact with and far more active.
The main issues were occuring around me and my own high workload in real life as well as a lack of motivation to rp more than one character (that character being Zhao Yun). By the time we had planned to have replacements for my npcs the battle phase was being sorted out and attention turned that way.
Anyway with 2 new mods with bigger npc emphasis and of course Mikey and Steve still doing them, there should be a good enough team there for the next diplomacy phase =]

We kind of need to get through this battle phase first Wu at least has been waiting days for NPCs to post in the Battle for Jian Ye
Double take: Did the staff delete all the battles?

Battles are in the Battle Archive area at the bottom of the site, I am sure Mikey would like to keep roleplaying that, but you would probably need to pm him about continuing it as a past time event because as a site we will be moving to the next diplomacy phase and looking to reward the battles fairly and resolve the issues we have found for them.

So just to be clear does this mean Wu gains Jian Ye, Shu gains Yong An, Wei gets Luo Yang, and Xu gets Bei Hai? Also, are we in the next diplomacy phase?

Yes to your first question and to your second, its kind of a transition between the two right now, its late and I have to go to bed now, though expect the official mentioning of the Diplomacy within the next day at the most. Its a case of everything can now be done as normal, minus purchasing anything due to a possible slight economy change and price changes that will likely occur, though other than knock yourself out with tasks etc
