"She is just another one of Wei's loyal dogs."
Name:[/u][/b]

Personality:
✖ LOYAL
Above all other facts known about this young female, Z is as loyal as they come. To whom she is loyal to, they will experience a truly faithful servant day and night for as long as she shall live. She does not move until her commander tells her to, and she does not stop until her commander tells her to. Though she is only a beginning soldier, she has a strong will and a relentlessness that could surpass most others. Her loyalty causes her not to falter, even in the face of death... This is both one of her best traits, and one of her greatest faults. While such a loyalty is admirable, it can also be fatal.
✖ CHARISMATIC
Unlike most soldiers outside of the battlefield, Z is extremely outgoing. While near her commander and other leaders she is proper, well-behaved and will not move until told otherwise, outside of these conditions she is an extremely talkative and friendly person. She loves to help out others and make friends while she can. At the very least she understands that her absolute loyalty to her kingdom may very well get her killed, so it's best to get to know people while she can, right? With this in mind, Z does not have high standards for friends. As long as they are willing to form a bond, then so is she.
✖ PATIENT
While restless inside most of the time, Z is very well known for not acting until ordered or until deemed absolutely necessary... Likewise, she is very patient with people outside of battle. While she can get irritated quickly, she holds off on acting on it until there comes a point where it needs to stop. Otherwise, she is very calm and always waiting for orders.
✖ MOTHERLY
Perhaps it is because she is female by nature, or maybe it is just how she has grown up to be, but Z has always been a motherly sort. She cares for the wounded and is always cheering people up when they are upset... She will scold someone for doing wrong (if they're of a lower rank) and she just has a habit of caring for anyone younger than her. Z may come off as irritating and demeaning with some of the things that she does, so this trait isn't all that good, but at the very least you can know that as long as you are on her side, you will be well taken care of.
✖ "FORGIVE AND FORGET"
This is a rule that Z lives by. She has lived by it since she was young, though this does not mean she does it successfully. Once an act has been committed against her or someone else, she will deal with the problem, forgive them, and then do her best to forget about it... Mainly meaning not bringing it up to tear the other person down. She does not like the feeling of holding a grudge or being angry with someone, so this is her way of dealing with those feelings. So far so good, but the war has only just begun.
➔ NEGATIVE
✖ HARSH
A trait that might have branched off from being motherly... Z is brutally honest when you ask her to be, and when you make a mistake she is quick to let you know at times, if only because on the battlefield the slightest mishap will kill you. Some will undoubtedly dislike her for this, but she would rather be disliked and the men be alive then a favored person with no one to follow her.
✖ WRECKLESS
Another branched-off trait, this time of loyalty... Zhōng Gôu will do anything for her commander or leader when requested, no matter the cost. She will even drop her own guard in order to protect the back of her commanding officer. So far she has managed to live through such obviously foolish acts, but perhaps this will one day catch up to her.
✖ STUBBORN
She will not give up without a fight, and she will not stop fighting until she or the opponent are dead. Z is relentless and refuses to stop until commanded to. She mainly displays this trait on the battlefield, though even outside she can be stubborn when dealing with fellow soldiers and getting them to sit down for a moment to be helped when wounded. Men are stubborn and want to look fine when they're not, so she will be just as stubborn. She would rather not have to rely on someone who is injured and not taken care of. It is both a risk to her, the other soldiers, and that soldier themselves... Her stubbornness mostly deals with people who need help and is otherwise very flexible with things.
✖ RESTLESS
A hypocrite, maybe, but Zhōng Gôu does not enjoy stopping for even a moment when there are others in need of her. She hates being wounded and useless. The feeling tears her up inside, and thus she may often get away from the medics in order to get back on the battlefield. This may very well be another branch-off of the motherly trait and loyalty ones mixed, but either way she does her best to avoid injury and to always be there for her fellow troops.
✖ LOW TOLERANCE
Patience and tolerance are two very different things. While she has a lot of patience, there are just some things she will not tolerate; disrespect, lies, and traitors. These sorts of people will not see kindness from her, especially traitors. Expect to be watched warily, scolded quickly, and eliminated once you falter in the slightest. Better to as for forgiveness than for permission.[/ul]
Appearance:
5'5", 130 pounds, & athletic/curved.
✖ HAIR, EYES & SKIN
Light brown, green, & pale.
✖ MARKINGS
Ears pierced once, but otherwise no markings.[/ul]
Apparel/Armour:
As seen in the image, Z wears an outfit that is light, easy to move around in and also rather stylish. The main colors seem to be red and yellow as opposed to Wei's purple, but this might be eluding to the fact that most brightly-colored creatures are dangerous in some way and thus have no reason to camouflage themselves... Another thing to notice is her red headband with the flower and her large red earrings.
✖ ARMOR
She actually does not wear much armor, despite being physically weak compared to most combatants. The armor is found at her elbows, forearms and the sort covering from her knee to her ankles. Other than this she does not actually wear armor.[/ul]
Weapon(s):
A very basic weapon with which Z has practiced since her mid-teen years. She is still not very good with the sword and prefers to use other methods to fight, such as traps and simple cunning. Despite all of her physical work on her father's land, she is still fairly weak and thus close range fighting is least preferred. Medium to long-range is her more favored method.[/ul]
History:
Zhōng Gôu was born in the year 172 in the province of Xu Chang. She was born to a widowed woman, victim to the most simple disease. Her father died before she was born, and she was the only child of the family. This would mean that it would be a home of just a wife and a daughter, while there were still fields and animals to tend to.
✖ CHILD
Z was forced to grow up without any truly significant male figure in her life, but she made up for it by filling in the spot as best as she could. While she was just a girl she still helped to tend the fields, mend the things that were broken, and all together do the work a man normally would have. Even when she was young she did her best to fill her father's shoes, despite having never met him. She could see from other men in the community what she would need to learn to do, and she was always eager to do it. She had little to no problem with getting dirty for the sake of her mother, who over time ceased in mourning the loss of her husband and began working to ensure that he did not leave behind an unfixable home.
✖ TEEN
Roughly around these years was the beginning of the Yellow Turban Rebellion. Men left and right were leaving to fight in this war, and perhaps it was the way she had grown up and the role that she had filled, but she wanted to join them. The only thing stopping her was that she would be leaving her mother behind to do all of the work. This was not something that Z could just do, so she remained with her mother and continued the work she had done since she was young... though on the side she was admittedly practicing for the day that may never come. Best to be prepared than running in blindly.
✖ YOUNG ADULT [PRESENT]
Seeing her daughter's desire to fight for her country, Z's mother encouraged her to go. The people in the village they lived in offered to assist her mother while she was away, finally leaving Z with the chance to go out as she pleased... Though hesitant, she took this opportunity. She would make her mother proud and serve her lord as best as she could with the utmost loyalty. Though she still has minimal training, at the very least she is intelligent and capable of handling herself.
