History:
Cao Ang was born 19 years ago in Qiao Xian at Peiguo. He was the eldest son of Cao Cao and Liu Shi. His mother died young and he was taken by his father to Luo Yang, the capital of the Han Dynasty, where he was adopted by Lady Ding, the wife of his father. His father got a position there and Cao Ang attended a higher school there as his family had enough money. He proved his skills with the sword early on,but was kept at home nonetheless. During his time at school the Yellow Turban Rebellion broke out. Ang,brave as he was, asked his father to accompany him,but his father denied that because of Ang's very young age. So,Cao Ang stayed behind as his father was slaughtering dozens of rebels and finished school.
After finishing school,Cao Ang decided to follow the honorable path of the warrior. The first step for this was the application at the Imperial Army. He was accepted, probably because of his family's reputation, and started training. In the midst of this training, chaos broke out at the capital as Grand General He Jin was assassinated by the eunuchs. His father joined the Prefect of Bo Hai,Yuan Shao, and started getting rid off the eunuchs. Cao Ang's training was canceled and he secretly accompanied his father, taking the heads of two eunuchs by himself. The situation calmed down as Dong Zhuo entered the capital, but this man took control of the Emperor himself and used him as a puppet, even killing the former Emperor Liu Bian. Cao Cao fled the capital and Cao Ang of course followed him.
At Chen Liu,Ang helped recruiting soldiers for his father's cause and soon the Coalition against Dong Zhuo had been established. Dong Zhuo was soon killed by his foster son Lu Bu,who was consequently driven out of Chang An by the troops of Li Jue. After this,Cao Cao started to go his own path of conquest. Still thinking that his son was too young to join the army,Cao Ang stayed at home and used the time to improve his skill. He was inspired by his father, who was a great military leader himself, and he wanted to become such a great leader as well. Finally,as Cao Cao started his campaign against the minor warlord Zhang Xiu in Wan Cheng,Cao Ang was allowed to join his father in this campaign. Cao Ang,full of enthusiasm, wanted to prove his skill to his father and become one of the greatest generals in history.
