Then what about Brians troops who weren't mentioned before this round? You can't even say last round because Monty had to edit them in.

By the way Brian, the troop positions in your own post put your siege equipment as being directly east of the grove, whereas my troops are south of it, NOT right in front of your siege equipment. Not to mention your horse would have charged right through a mass of spear men to reach my archers.

Haven't read Brian's post yet, but the morale thing is power-playing. You don't control morale, the Battle-Mod does. That's just standard stuff, but I don't think Brian meant to say it in that way to gain an advantage anyway.
And by all means, Kin, go ahead. You aren't restricted to this board.

That's just standard stuff, but I don't think Brian meant to say it in that way to gain an advantage anyway. And by all means, Kin, go ahead. You aren't restricted to this board. I meant to hint at a mod that the morale should change. I thought it was the obvious course of action when someone presents a challenge and the other party doesn't accept. Also, regarding Derek's other post, you left your archers up in front of the rest of your army with your infantry behind them, spearmen on the sides and fartherback. Cavalry would be able to hit them once and run, sustaining a few casualties but not all that many. As for my siege equipment, it's in the middle of the blue line on Justin's post explaining where we're at. So west of the grove, looking east at both approaching forces. [edit] These are the formationswe've both presented: Shen HaSP—SP—SW--SW—A—A—A—A—SW—SW—SP--SP SP—SP—SW—SW—C—C—C—C—SW—SW—SP—SP Li Wang_________ArcArcArcArcArc Cav_____SwoSwoSwoSwo____SpeSpeSpe Cav____SwoSwoSwoSwo_____SpeSpeSpe Take note that I switched my cavalry and archers from this post and my battle post around, so that we can see what the forces look like as they're arrayed against each other, not just what formation they're in. Currently our archers are harassing each other and our forces are moving up to begin a skirmish. Shen Ha, seeing your archers in front of the rest of your forces, charges with his cavalry to hit them, do some damage, then get out.

But my archers wouldn't be moving once they've opened fire, which they have. The rest of my army would have passed them within a minutes. Besides, my issue wasn't with your cavalry, it was Shen Ha's improbable charge through my frontline, which would take him right through a mass of spearmen (as apparently Shen Ha charged out of the grove and his cavalry rode out to join him). And yes, Jen is Steve's wife. I would hope Steve is busy stuffing her!

Shen Ha's at the bottom half leading the men against Li Wang while Yue Jin's at the top half leading those men against Sun Quan. We were at the grove the first round, and second round you posted leading your men so I posted leading my men against you.
And you never said your archers stopped, you only posted your formation with your archers at the front. Shen Ha charged his cavalry into it and got out as the infantry moved up.

I shouldn't have had to say the archers stopped to fire; most archers do. YOU never mentioned Shen Ha leaving the grove to go back to his array before charging out to attack Li Wang's army, which is why to me it seems like you came out of the grove. Which would take you through my spears. Yes, the archers were in front, but the rest of the formation started to march, whilst the archers were busy putting arrows into your lines.

To be frank, I never mentioned where my men were before you started firing at my men and approaching them, but you don't see me fighting to the death that it wasn't a valid move.
Not to be a dick but get over it, man. The mods will do what they will, if every round is going to be like this then I'm going to petition to have Justin look over your role in this battle.

And I'd tell you to shut the fuck up and let me lead my own kingdom.
As far as I'm concerned, you didn't have an army at the start of this battle, and shouldn't have one, but I'm not going to nitpick that to death. It was assumed that you'd just have standard array, so Li Wang posted to that. Don't try to call him out on "You didn't know where my army was!" when it only had one feasible place to be while you did all your shit in your post.
Otherwise, I won't comment, but I don't really see what the problem is, besides the amount you're doing in a single turn. It's not really fair that you can do an entire cavalry charge and retreat in a single turn, but what do I know, I hate these fucking battles.

Jeez Brian; I'm so so sorry if I'm just trying to make sure that all the many many problems with your post are at least noted . I'm so so sorry that I'm nitpicking your posts because it's complete and utter bullshit that you're going to, in one turn, tell us exactly where the fuck your army is, how the fuck it's divided, and then power-play, meta game, and god mod in the bargain . So I'm sorry I'm being an asshole and pointing all that out, should I just shut the fuck up now?

You guys need to calm your daft selves down and wait for the Mod call. Cease these unecessary flamings, if you can't talk about it in a civilised fashion, don't at all. And leave it to the mod, whoever it may be. Lashing out at each other doesn't solve anything, it just creates more problems.
The way these battles are handled by us all is ruining the nature and vibe of this site. Calm the hell down.
