I thought horse bowmen were the lightest out of all cavalry units? I thought that would be obvious, lighter armor e.c.t. So they would be able to keep up with light cavalry.

No my issue was the 20 who apparently went ahead to attack Justin (assuming that was the two groups on the side?). You didn't post that until the post after you ambushed me, after Justin and I had already responded to your ambush.
Even if the horsebows don't all shoot at the same time, I would imagine that your troops are going to be decimated. But then, neither of us is the battle mod, so we may as well just stop arguing about it and leave it up to Monty.

If Light Cavalry are good at 'catching' horse bowmen then they are the fastest.
Well that was the whole plan. They were never ment to even come close to you really. Really man, our little fight was like skip really. All we did was attack each other and BOOM. End of turn, they dead your captured moving on. Really thats what happen. Nothing RPed of it from neither one of us.
Really dont matter if they went ahead or not. If they did they really wouldnt do that much damage anyway. We are talking about two of the fastest units in the game. Sure they are trained to hit things while on the run but thats on flat terrian and mostly towards foot soldiers. Your dealing with the rough ride of the horse, aimming at a target thats just as fast if not then faster, and these targets not riding in a straight line. Moving around obsticals, such as logs, trees, and who knows what else.
Training never compares to the real deal...

The Elite heavy Cavalry would have cut off any chance of retreat since WE WERE FARTHER WEST THAN YOU WERE. I don't see how you don't understand that. But apparently it's too difficult. And, btw, I didn't have a problem I created the map, then you went off and started spouting shit about how I refused to let you confirm your location.

Well, now that all our arguments have been made, we just need to wait for Monty to get out of the hospital, or whoever the backup mod is to post a summary and losses.

Man, don't even worry about it. When you just get out of the hospital, I think we can understand that you're not going to want to crunch numbers and moderate something like this.
We can wait for whatever course of action.

Hmm well I guess if Mikey's busy and Steve is still busy stuffing Jen settling into the married life, the only other person who could do it would be Aaron. Unless of course we just wait for Monty, Mikey, or Steve.

I'm at my office at the moment so I can't really take a good look at the battle, but if I can dispel any confusion it's this: Light Cavalry are the fastest horse unit in the game, they also have the lowest charge modifier. Horsebowmen are the second fastest horse unit, but cannot catch up to Light Cavalry. Also, any type of archer unit is seriously affected--visibility wise--by forest terrain. In line with that--I only count archers as volleying once per turn.
Justin, however, is in fact farther ahead of Ryou Kin in a relatively good paced time period. So if Justin is combing the entire northern forest, there's a good chance he'd catch Ryou Kin sometime. My recommendation? The northern swamp and forests are probably Kin's best bet to disappear and then travel to Wei via the northern way. Because of the terrain, once he bypasses Pang He's 10-or-whatever troops, he'd be safe.
If I read correctly (and I probably didn't), Justin spots (or hears, whatever) Kin with scouts and then chases him in the same post. These scouts were never mentioned beforehand so Kin's 'security detail' thing would be just as fair an assumption.
Monty will be taking a break from modding this battle and it will be placed on hold until I (or if I find another battle-mod) get a chance to read it fully.
