Will be joining the battle from this turn onwards as reinforcements for wei - have been permitted by Monty to do so, a couple of turns prior.

Ouch... talk about a slaughter fest for mine and Brian's armies

Haha, very much like the previous battle. This one won't last that long, or leave us many troops, it appears.

I made it harsh, because you are bombarding each other with numerous artillery pieces and thousands of arrows

Haha true... It looks like it'll be a matter of who routes first. Probably me, since I had 2k troops fewer than you to begin with.
I have to say, however, that I don't really like how we've got one morale scale for every unit on the battlefield. For example, Ku Ren capturing Dailai Zhangba, I could understand that increasing the morale of Ryou Kin's forces, but it makes no sense at all for that to affect Li Wang's main force on the other side of the map, you know?

You've just had two heads of famed southerners thrown in your face, morale would be pretty as is. Your men would want revenge like their general, but they would still be disheartened. It's battle morale, and army morale, since you are really just one army, in seperate units. If you get what I mean. The battlefield isn't that big, and each army would have scouts constantly on the move if they were smart informing them of developments elsewhere on the field.

True I hadn't thought of that... but what about Li Wang's speech to his troops? Did that have any effect on their morale?

The speech has allowed your men to hold their nerve in the face of the one who has 'killed' two beloved southern officers, and surficed enough to make them willing to fight in the face of superior numbers. Morale would still take a slight blow.
But you can attempt to make up for that in the coming fight, and shift it in your favour. Your men are willing to fight for vengeance but if you get overwhelmed they will break as a whole easier; but I don't believe it'll come to that.

Alright thanks for clarifying that for me Sam.
One more thing: when the reward says "your troops are less fatigued", how exactly does that factor in? Do they fatigue at a slower rate? Or are they just partially refreshed?

I have no idea of how it was intended to be implemented, but I spared you the fatique of moving into your attack position. Considering you have moved forward and straight into the attack in one post. So I've played it as if they have been refreshed, and so are now equally as fresh as Brian's.

Edit:
I do not give any shits. I have less than zero shits to give about this battle anymore, it's so stupid.
Can we just get an undo button like we did with the Guan Yu situation? Trying to fight a battle on this site is like pulling teeth and it's left a sour taste in my mouth, and I no longer give a shit about any of this and just want to write when I feel like it.
This battle has destroyed any want of mine to RP, even on this site or off site. It's just... sad, that so much fucking bitching and complaining comes out of such a stupid little thing as this. Whether it's the bullshit "you have better troops than me and I can't play this cuz I don't want to play at an disadvantage" or the complaints over positioning, no one really has a good time with this, someone always leaves with a bad taste in their mouth (Right now it's me), and someone ends up losing someone else as a friend.
So Yeah. Idk. I can't deal with this battle anymore though. Sorry Derek.

Sorry my mistake Justin. Don't get your damn panties in a knot. It's not my fault that because I'm in the hospital I can't really do much.

If only there were a way for people to play battles for fun and not to win. That'd be a sight.

If everyone stopped crying when they are getting beat or something goes against them then everything would be ok.

Monty, I didn't see Justin mention you once in your post. Not everything in this situation revolves around you.
Anyway, I'm in the same boat as Justin. These battles can blow me, nobody can just have fun writing. It'll always end up being a pissing contest, and it just kills my writing vibe.
